SUNDAY RALLY
Join David Weprin (23rd Council District) and Pre-K parents on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 1:00PM, on the steps of City Hall  calling on Chancellor Joel Klein and the Department of Education to follow its own rules and have applications for Pre-K re-evaluated for violating its own rules governing Pre-K applications. If you would like to attend, please contact my Communications Director, Pat Barrientos, in my City Hall office at (212) 788-6984.

Appeals Process (from the DOE website): Is there an appeals process for pre-K?

There is an appeals process for a child whose address changes or for extenuating circumstances. Families who wish to submit an appeal must do so in writing to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  no later than June 13, 2008.
